Coruña is hosting today and tomorrow the 12th Scientific Meeting GINEP 2023, an international congress on gynecology that brings together more than 400 gynecologists from the private sector. With this congress, held at Palexco, A Coruña consolidates its position as a MICE destination. The City Council of A Coruña, through the Consortium of Tourism and Congresses of the city, collaborates in the celebration of this reference forum in medicine.

This congress has speakers such as José Eliseo Blanco, head of Obstetrics at the Hospital Clínico Universitario Virgen de la Arrixaca (Murcia); Anna Blázquez, medical scientific coordinator at Clinica Eugin (Barcelona); Santiago Palacios, organizer of the conference and director of the Instituto Palacios de Salud y Medicina de la Mujer (Madrid); Alejandro Celestino Pazos Sierra, director of the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology at the UDC; Fernando Cobián Sánchez, long-time gynecologist in A Coruña; Ignacio Cristobal, vice-president of the Board of Directors of the Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics of Madrid; Jesús de la Fuente, head of the Gynecology and Obstetrics section at the Infanta Leonor Hospital (Madrid-Vallecas); and Antonio Gosálvez, Assisted Reproduction Unit at the Quirón Salud University Hospital, Madrid, among others.
