A Coruña hosted a new edition of the Noroeste Estrella Galicia Festival this weekend, the thirty-eighth in a row, where 115,000 people enjoyed various concerts across the six stages throughout the city of Heracles. Five days in which up to 38 concerts were held, all of them free, with names such as Luar na Lubre, La Yegros, Mondra, P.P Arnold, Guadi Galego, Siloé or The Vaccines. These were the acts that 28,000 people enjoyed on Saturday night, while the Galician beach festival, with Carlos Ares, Luar na Lubre, and Grande Amore, brought together 30,000 people.

Albert Pla, with nearly 10,000 people, was one of the most successful acts at María Pita, and the Castillo de Santo Antón was completely sold out for the three days that music played inside the fortress.
The Northwest Record Market and the Harvest Market were two alternative proposals with a large influx of people from Thursday to Sunday.

The performing arts will once again close another edition of the Noroeste Estrella Galicia Festival, as they did last year. It will be at Santa Margarita Park on Sunday, August 17 at 7:30 PM with performances by Xosé A. Touriñán, David Amor, Javier Veiga, Lucía Veiga, Marita Martínez, and Patricia Castrillón in a new piece of the 'Contos ao Noroeste'.

"Contos ao Noroeste" was created at the 37th edition of the Noroeste Estrella Galicia Festival to complement the music programming with activities for adults and young people. Now, return with top-notch Galician comedians to bid farewell to the thirty-eighth edition of the best festival in the northeastern part of the Iberian Peninsula.
